Beach Breakers (6th - 10th Grade)
Must be entering 6th-10th grade in Fall 2024 and at least 11 years old by September 1, 2024.
Dive into a summer of fun at Venice Beach! Campers will spend their mornings soaking up the sun while learning to be safe in the ocean and to ride waves on surfboards and boogie boards. Water time will be supplemented with land-based instruction, beach games, and fun challenges.
Swim Requirement: Since water sports are integral to these programs, all campers in this program should be water-safe and minimally able to swim 25 consecutive yards and to tread water for 2 minutes.
This is a ONE-WEEK HALF-DAY program running Monday-Thursday from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm at Venice Beach. Transportation is NOT available to/from the UCLA Campus.
Daily Schedule:
- 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM Drop-Off
- 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM Camp Programming
- 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM Pick-Up
