Bruins on Water (3rd - 5th)
Must be entering 3rd-5th grade and at least 8 years old by September 1, 2024.
Step on board for a summer of fun where science meets the sea. Campers will be introduced to the wonders of the Pacific Ocean through interactive science experiments, art projects, and on water-aquatic activities. Under the supervision of our trained staff, campers will learn the fundamentals of sailing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding in Marina del Rey and put their skills to the test with games and challenges. Water activities will be supplemented with land-based instruction, science experiments, and art activities.
Swim Requirement: Since water sports are integral to these programs, all campers in this program should be water-safe and minimally able to swim 25 consecutive yards and to tread water for 2 minutes.
This is a 1-WEEK FULL-DAY program running Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Marina Aquatic Center. Transportation is NOT available to/from the UCLA Campus. MAC PM Extended Care is available for an additional fee.
