For Black History Month, we continue to honor great athletes that paved the way for future generations. Jackie Robinson, former bruin, broke color barriers in baseball and will forever be honored for his contribution to the game. In November 2014, UCLA officially named 22 of its athletic facilities as the Jackie Robinson Athletics and Recreation Complex where a "42" plaque stands at each entrance. These in-ground bronze plaque stands as a reminder of Robinsons tremendous courage in the face of adversity. Spot these plaques around campus at these locations:
