Intramural Sports

Intramural Sports provides the UCLA community an opportunity to participate in organized recreational sports. A variety of leagues, tournaments, and special events are offered each quarter. Individuals purchase a membership access pass which allows them to create or join a team and to play as many sports as they want that quarter. Participation is more leisurely than club sports, and promotes an active lifestyle and friendly competition in a fun, safe environment. Registration to create a team opens Week 1 of each quarter.

Unified Sports

UCLA Recreation is continuing our partnering with Special Olympics Southern California and Special Olympics at UCLA to host Unified Sports leagues throughout the 2019-20 academic year! Unified Sports promotes inclusion by joining individuals with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. The teams are made up of those with similar age and ability, with sport as the common bond. Special Olympics pioneered the unified sports approach, using sport as a vehicle for inclusion. Unified Sports at UCLA will consist of teams made up of Special Olympics athletes from around the area and UCLA students as the Unified partners.
