Must be entering 1st - 2nd grade in Fall 2024 and at least 6 years old by September 1, 2024.

The UCLA Mathias Botanical Garden's Nature Day Camp is the perfect opportunity for young campers to indulge in an exciting week full of exploration and active learning experiences in the great outdoors. Get ready for a week-long daily adventure, based out of the beautiful La Kretz Garden Pavilion at the UCLA Mathias Botanical Garden. Instructors are passionate and experienced outdoor educators who are experts in their fields.
Drop-off and pick-up for this program take place at the UCLA Mathias Botanical Garden. Campers enrolled in this program are not eligible for extended care.
In our specialty offerings, Water Explorers and Botanizers Editions (weeks 5 and 7), the standard camp programming will be supplemented by specialty activities exploring the importance of water and local watersheds, or Los Angeles plant life and what it means to be a botanist.
Daily Schedule:
- 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM Drop-Off
- 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Camp Programming
- 3:00 PM - 3:30 PM Pick-Up
