Discover (3rd - 5th)

Must be entering 3rd-5th grade and at least 8 years old by Sept 1, 2025

Discover is a program that provides campers a chance to be active in a variety of areas. Activities include recreational swimming, challenge course, field games, rock wall, arts & crafts, and an extended-day weekly field trip. Planned field trips are listed in the offering notes and are subject to change without notice based on enrollment. This 1-week program runs Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm* and is based out of the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center.

Planned Friday Field Trips (Subject to change without notice):

  • Week 2 (6/27) - Disneyland
  • Week 4 (7/11) - Six Flags Magic Mountain
  • Week 5 (7/18) - Knott's Soak City
  • Week 6 (7/25) - Universal Studios Hollywood
  • Week 7 (8/1) - Knott’s Berry Farm
  • Week 8 (8/8) - Disney California Adventure

Daily Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM Drop-Off
  • 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Camp Programming
  • 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM Pick-Up*

*Fridays are an extended day for a Field Trip with a pick-up time of 8:00 pm

Camp Fees are organized in a three-tier payment system.

  • TIER 1: CURRENT UCLA STUDENTS
  • TIER 3: UCLA STAFF AND FACULTY
  • TIER 5: ALL OTHERS
