Updated Policies and Procedures

COVID-19 Safety

  • Must present a current certificate of clearance from the UCLA Symptom Monitoring Survey for facility access and/or class participation.
  • Anyone displaying symptoms of illness may be asked to leave the facility and/or class.

Facility Policies

  • Only UCLA Recreation Personal Fitness Trainers may conduct training sessions in any UCLA Recreation facility.

  • You must be at least 16 years of age to use strength areas unless otherwise determined by instructor-led activity or program.

For assistance:

  1. Report any blood, injury, equipment malfunction, or facility feedback to the FITWELL staff immediately.

  2. For help or questions, including guidance and lifting instruction, see FITWELL staff.

  3. For special accommodations, see FITWELL staff.

Participant Policies

  • A top, bottoms, and shoes are required unless otherwise determined by instructor-led activity or program. Closed toed/closed heel athletic shoes are required.

  • Must be an active participant during reservation. No loitering.

  • Dumbbells, plates, and bars should not be dropped from any height.

  • Collars must be used on all bars when weight is added.

  • Do not stand bars or dumbbells vertically on floor.

  • Return dumbbells, barbells, plates, and all other equipment to designated storage locations after each use.

  • Equipment must be used as intended. Modifications are NOT allowed.

  • All free-standing movements must be performed in a designated area.

  • Clean equipment before and after each use. Make a Booking

Facility Rental

Drake Stadium is a nine-lane 400-meter track with javelin, triple jump, long jump, high jump, and an infield events area. A handicap accessible unisex restroom is located on the track level. Spectator seating capacity is 11,700.

Facility rentals are currently unavailable. Please check back here for the latest.

*Frank W. Marshall Field (the track infield) is only available for scheduled activities.
