Rec Cubs (K - 2nd)

Must be entering Kindergarten- 2nd Grade in Fall 2025 and at least age 5 years old by September 1, 2025.

This program is geared toward supporting younger and first-time campers to acclimate to summer camp. Activities includes arts & crafts, outdoor games, science based fun and weekly waterplay activities. This program does NOT include recreational swimming. Learn to Swim add-on lessons are available for an additional fee. This 1-week program runs Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm at the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center.

Daily Schedule:

  • 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM Drop-Off
  • 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Camp Programming
  • 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM Pick-Up

*9:10 AM - 10:00 AM Optional Add-on 25 min Learn to Swim Lessons (Mon - Thurs)

Camp Fees are organized in a three-tier payment system.

Rec Cubs Add On: Learn to Swim

Rec Cubs campers have access to an add-on for group swim lessons. These optional group lessons are for new and returning swimmers and allow for progressive learning in a fun atmosphere. Campers enjoy FOUR 25-minute lessons per week (Monday-Thursday). Campers are grouped according to skill level. Register for each session that your camper will be attending Rec Cubs.
