GETTING TO THE FACILITY
The Marina Aquatic Center is located at 14001 Fiji Way, Marina del Rey, CA 90292.
- Parking at the MAC is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis for patrons of the facility. If upon arrival to the facility, our parking lot is full, overflow offsite parking is available for free at Dock 52 (0.75 miles from the boathouse) or paid parking is available at the closer Fisherman’s Village (we do not validate for this lot).
- Do not park in the Breakwater parking lot or garage - you will be towed. Vehicles parked in any yellow striped area will be subject to tow; Parking on any yellow lines forces other vehicles to drive on the bike path endangering pedestrians and bikers.
- Drive slowly and carefully to and from the MAC parking lot. Watch for pedestrians and cyclists on the bike path and the Breakwater access road. Once you reach the Marina Aquatic Center facility, drive on the striped access lane only. DO NOT drive on the LA County bike path. When exiting parking spaces, watch for bike path traffic; stay on the striped driving lane and back into the turnaround area provided.
TIMING
- Renters are responsible for maintaining the time of their reservations – BRING A WATCH! Rental members may choose the duration of their rental within open hours. Multi-visit pass holders will be billed based on 90 minute visits; if more than 90 minutes is taken, additional visits will be billed/deducted from the renter.
- All equipment must be returned to the MAC and derigged appropriately at the end of a rental.

CHECK-IN PROCESS
- A Bruincard or Photo ID is required to rent and will be held by the dockmaster for the duration of the reservation. Small cell phone lockers are available to store some valuables during a rental, but all other personal items should be stored either in your locked vehicle or in our locker room (locks not provided). We do not recommend bringing valuables, including cell phones, on the water so all renters should bring a water-proof watch to manage the time of their reservation.
- Please bring only what is minimally required to the rental reservation, arrive ready to get on the water, and leave all valuables at home. It is very likely that you will get wet during your reservation, especially if sit-on-top kayaking. Please dress accordingly and have a towel in your car if possible.
